Learn about how to handle contact lenses
Contact lenses are ideal for athletes and people on the go. Even with the least amount of activity, glasses tend to slip and slide. When you break a sweat, your glasses mist over, obscuring your vision. Contact lenses do not have any of these issues. In addition, they will never break and cause vision damage. However, glasses make you feel having large lenses in front of your eyes. Contact lenses are much smaller and rest directly on your eyes which will be more comfortable than glasses. There is a wide range of colors available in which you can use green colored contacts which may give you a beautiful look. Here are a few tips about handling lenses
- Before using the lens wash and rinse your hands with mild soap to avoid dust getting into the lens.
- Make sure there are no perfumes, oils, or lotions in it. They can leave some dust on your hands. If that dust gets on your lenses, your eyes may become irritated or your vision may become blurry.
- If you use hair spray, apply it before putting it on your contacts. It is also a good idea to keep your fingernails short and smooth so you don’t scratch or damage your lenses.
- Few contacts need specialized care and products. Some eye products and eye drops are not suitable for contact lens wearers.
- Every time you use your lens case, clean it. Make use of the sterile saline solution. Allow it to dry naturally. Every three months, replace the case.
- Never use tap water to clean your lenses. Even distilled water can produce harmful microorganisms that can cause an infection or impair your vision.
- To clean the contact lens rub them gently in the palm of your other hand with your index finger. The surface buildup is removed by lightly rubbing your contact.
- After inserting your lenses, apply eye makeup. Remove them before you remove your makeup.
There are many colors available in which green colored contacts are much attractive that give you a super cool look. Anyways, you are now with a better idea, so you have to decide if contacts are right for you or not. When making a decision, consider your way of life.
